About

Technology only matters
when it takes root.

That’s where the name comes from — deep roots. Not the demo, not the pilot, not the press release: the moment a system becomes part of how your business actually runs.

The story

From growing businesses to enabling them.

Droot began as a Canadian growth practice, working hands-on with small and mid-sized firms in legal, health, and insurance — the operators who keep this country running but never get the Fortune 500 treatment.

But AI is not new ground for us. For the past six to seven years, our team has been building machine-learning and, later, generative-AI features into real products — long before “AI strategy” was a line item. AI has been something we ship, not something we slide-deck.

As AI reshaped what small teams could do, the constraint shifted from attention to execution: plenty of companies could see the opportunity, far fewer could ship it. So in 2026 we brought our oldest strength to the front and rebuilt Droot around it — the focus was new, the capability was years deep. Same clients we’ve always served, same bias for measurable outcomes, now led by engineers who were building AI long before it was fashionable — embedded with your team, shipping systems that stick.

What we believe

Three things we’re stubborn about.

I

Plain answers, no theatre

No hype cycles, no jargon walls, no “transformation journeys.” We’ll tell you what AI can do for your business, what it can’t, and what it costs — in language your CFO will appreciate.

II

Measured in dollars

Adoption metrics and demo applause are vanity. Hours returned, errors prevented, revenue unlocked — if we can’t trace the impact to the P&L, we don’t call it a win.

III

Leave you stronger

Every engagement ends with your team more capable than we found it. If Droot disappears tomorrow, everything we built keeps working — and your people know why.

Canada-first

Built here, for here.

The billion-dollar AI deployment companies serve the Fortune 500. Canada’s small and mid-sized businesses — the firms that employ most of this country — deserve the same calibre of help, from a partner that understands the terrain.

  • Data residency — Canadian-soil hosting options when your data can’t leave the country
  • PIPEDA & provincial privacy law — governance drafted for the rules you actually answer to
  • Your time zone — working sessions during your business hours, not a ticket queue overseas
  • SMB & mid-market economics — engagements sized for real budgets, with fixed fees you can plan around

Let’s talk about your business.

Thirty minutes, no deck, no obligation. Tell us what’s slowing your team down — we’ll tell you honestly whether AI can help.
